Privacy
You can read the Bible without an account. If you create one, we store: your email and optional display name; your timezone and reading preferences; your reading plan, chapters read, study steps, and quiz attempts; and your bookmarks and journal entries.
Private by design. Database rules limit your progress, bookmarks, and journal to your own account. Content administrators can edit lessons but have no screen or permission to read your journal. Journal and prayer text is never sent to AI services. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider; it is not end-to-end encrypted.
On your device. Text size, theme, and read-aloud speed are saved in your browser. Bible chapters you choose to download are stored on your device. Read Aloud uses your device's own speech voices.
Your control. In Settings you can export all your data as a file, or permanently delete your account. Deletion removes your account and all associated progress, quiz history, bookmarks, and journal entries immediately; routine hosting backups may retain copies for a limited period before they expire.
We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party analytics trackers.
